Job Opportunities

The North Carolina Natural Heritage Program maintains the official inventory of the natural heritage resources of North Carolina. The program classifies the natural communities and tracks rare species and rare natural communities in the state. These rare species and natural communities are the focus of biodiversity conservation efforts. NCNHP maintains a database of specific locations based on natural area surveys conducted by staff as well as data contributed from the scientific community, published literature, and specimen records.
