Procedures for Re-Evaluating Natural Areas
NCNHP staff designate Natural Areas and Element Occurrence Records (EORs) as a routine part of their work. Natural Heritage information is distributed in the form of GIS data (with attributes), Site Reports, and EORs.
If a landowner questions or disputes natural heritage information, the landowner may provide written information to NCNHP staff for consideration, or request additional review or evaluation of the information.
